How to Cheer Up

Truly wise man is always cheerful

You are depressed, the entire world seems to be grey and it seems that nothing and nobody can cheer you up. You are strongly mistaken because…
Unshaven, hungry, tired and angry? … get shaved, have a dinner and have a rest :) And if the problem is different, if you’ve been splashed over from head to foot by a passing car just before the important meeting, the heel has broken in the morning and the whole day of walking is ahead, or on the exam you pulled out the ticket you haven’t learned? Or everything is fine, but something is missing, you feel terrible and don’t know what to do…
The worst thing you can do is to begin feeling sorry for yourself, crying and repeating “it’s hopeless”. Stop! Doing it, you just cause sympathetic or mischievous glances. They are both worth each other. You don’t need it, because it won’t help you to cheer up… You have to take action and then everything will be ok. You should program yourself only for the best, and then this Best won’t have another choice. Everyone has his chances to win a battle with his destiny. And this chances come to those who were looking for them. If fortune closes a door, it opens a window – that’s for sure.
And still…if you don’t want to work for your happiness – nobody can help you. Everyone creates his own destiny.
Our advices are for those who don’t want to give in to miseries and to darken his life. For those, who values every moment and is ready to meet it with a smile and in a good mood!!
So, if a cheerful mood has somehow left you, I’d advice you to say as a lover of cakes and jams, kind Karlson: “Don’t worry, just don’t worry. There's nothing extraordinary.” and to smile! Yes, just a smile can save you even when it seems that it’s the worst period of your life. After all, life can force darkness to show later its bright side!!
- Try to put a smile on your face and keep it for 3 minutes. An old friend of mine taught me this. At first, I didn’t believe in it, but such an easy trick can guarantee your good mood! And all bad thoughts disappear at once.
- Imagine that 10 years have passed and look at your problem from that time. The problem will seem so insignificant to you, that it will automatically cause a smile. So why should you feel sad now?
- Don’t think of bad things even for a second! Thoughts are material, so learn to repel bad thoughts and to summon only positive ones!!
- Your well-being depends only on your own decisions.(Rockefeller) We receive as much as we give! But not otherwise. So lets surround ourselves with joy!
- Where the common sense can’t help – sense of humor will come to the rescue :)
- Never stop smiling! Even if you are sad, someone may fall in love with your smile.
- And if you try to smile to a stranger? He will smile back to you – and you’ll feel better! “Share your smile and it will come back to you”.
- Open the window, look around. It’s all yours! Sky, sun, every gust! Do you really have to be sad??
- Recall a funny episode from your life, how joyful you felt, and a cheerful mood will return to you from the past :)
- Play with yourself in a funny game: try to find as many positive sides in the outside world as possible. All situations are originally positive, they become meaningful only when we evaluate them.
- It is great to get positive energy from listening to your favorite music in the morning or from reading some jokes.
There are many more ways of cheering up. The main thing is not to loose heart (because it’s a sin), to meet all the surprises with a smile and to rejoice every moment of your lift! Because every moment is unique, and it’s another opportunity to change your life to the better!!! It definitely will be so, if after reading this article you’ll use some of the described above techniques. Sunny mood will be your reward!
